This electronic exchange of data is called EDI (Electronic Data Interchange). There are numerous benefits of EDI for both you and the vendor. These benefits include improved order, invoice, and receiving accuracy, streamlining the purchasing process, faster order processing and fulfillment, and a green "paperless" process.
