Import/Export EDI Interface Specifications

EDI Interfaces between the vendor and the vendor's customer can be created for sending of a purchase order, downloading the advanced shipping notices, promotions, price changes, catalog updates and other functions.

Creating EDI interfaces with a vendor's proprietary system can be complicated and expensive to develop. Once the interface has been created, distribution, training and ongoing support needs to be offered by both, ARS Business Solutions and the Vendor.

Vendor Catalogs interfaces are developed and distributed without charge to the Vendor or the customer.

We are willing to create these EDI Interfaces and absorb our portion of the development cost without charge to the Vendor or the mutual customers if the following minimum requirements have been met.

 

The Vendor will provide catalog data upon request from the mutual customer.

The Vendor must have 12 ARS Version 5 Retail System users willing to implement the interface.

The Vendor must support the receive of a purchase order, and sending of a  advanced shipping notice or electronic invoice.

The Vendor must provide a test account to the ARS development staff.

The Vendor must provide specifications and documentation for the interface.

The Vendor is willing promote or recommend the ARS Retail System to there customer base.

ARS will create web pages on www.arss.com for the vendor. Contact information and documentation for the interface will be posted to our web site
