Import/Export EDI Interface Specifications
Electronic Data Interchange can be done using
XML file formats to import or export data directly from Version
5. Data in other formats will require a import conversion
program developed by our staff. Data transfers can be automated
via HTTP, FTP functions within our applications or by other
file transfer utilities. Each EDI type will include the XML
Schema along with an example file layout. The import function
of our application does not require all data elements or
tags to be included in the XML formats. Interfaces most
common are built to comply with the vendors proprietary
formats for the purpose of importing advanced shipping
notice, promotions, electronic catalog updates, price
changes, export of specific data, and purchase orders.

 This
button is available through out the Inventory Management
application. Selecting this button will display a list of
installed interfaces that import data, export data or communicate
with devices directly into the function being performed.
The first function displayed in each Interface list is a
file based option using one of the following XML formats.
